In our rapidly changing, hyper-connected world, sophisticated multi-enterprise collaborative ecosystems represent new ways for businesses to create value. Orchestrating collaboration is what SemiCab is all about, so we are always on the hunt for new opportunities to collaborate. That’s why when we were invited to join a virtual supply chain event hosted by Plug and Play (PNP), a technology company determined to boost innovation through collaboration, we jumped right in. Hosted on the Remo virtual platform, the event offered a seamless way to meet Plug and Play’s Corporate Partners, network with peers, and learn more about the latest trends. The experience was so positive that we decided to join PNP’s 12-week Supply Chain Innovation Program that kicked off on 8/16. Here’s a bit more news about PNP and what we hope to gain from our collaboration with them.
About PNP
Founded in 2006, Plug and Play is focused on catalyzing technological advancement by connecting blue-chip corporations with the brightest startups across the globe. They bring corporations, startups, VCs and investors, governments, universities, and mentors together to serve a variety of industries, like Agtech, brand and retail, energy, enterprise tech, fintech, food and beverage, health, IoT, media and ads, mobility, new materials, real estate, smart cities, supply chain, sustainability, and travel.
PNP Corporate Partner Program: How it works
PNP strives to make corporate innovation easier by matching large corporations with the brightest startups. With their partner program, PNP is able to provide corporations with increased operational efficiencies, lower costs, and new product lines, all while helping them to become more innovative from the core. Corporations that are part of the PNP ecosystem gain access to over 30,000 global startups that are equipped to help their corporate partners solve business challenges efficiently.
Through PNP workshops, partner-to-partner introductions, and startup lists, PNP helps their corporate partners in every stage of their innovation journey, from education to execution. Better yet, they offer a tailored service adapted to the needs of each of their corporate partners.
PNP Supply Chain Innovation Program
The Supply Chain Innovation Program is designed to help early and growth-stage startups develop and establish meaningful connections. Participating startups are provided with mentorship sessions, office hours, deal flows, pitch-polishing sessions, workshops, and a variety of other events and opportunities to empower promising startups to thrive. We’ll also have opportunities to connect with PNP’s partners, executives in residence, plug and play team members, and mentors.
The program will end with a Hybrid Summit/Showcase the week of October 18th, 2021. For those who are able to attend in person, PNP will host fireside chats of success stories between corporate partners and startups that have been through the PNP program, as well as different workshops geared towards startup needs. We’re so excited to get started!
And finally...our introduction to PNP wouldn’t have been possible without the awesome technology that the Remo virtual app boasts, so we wanted to tell you a little bit about that too!
Remo’s interactive virtual event platform was designed to humanize the online event experience. The platform empowers its users to connect in a more authentic and realistic way, allowing its users to cultivate online relationships that are as deep, meaningful, and enriching as relationships they develop in person. In short, Remo developed a human-centered approach for engaging online.
Virtual conferences are providing us with a whole new way of doing business that we’re certain isn’t slowing down any time soon. We’re eager to continue benefiting from Remo technology and excited to see what other features they add to their growing list of thoughtful touches.
Connecting with PNP and Remo has confirmed what we always knew to be true: collaboration is not only effective, it’s necessary for growth. We’re excited for the weeks ahead as we dive into PNP’s Supply Chain Innovation Program, and are looking forward to sharing all the knowledge we gain. For now, if you have any questions about how the SemiCab platform works, give us a call or set up a demo today.
